Thai tattoo festival resumes after pandemic shutdowns



One of Thailand’s most celebrated tattoo festivals has resumed after COVID-19 shutdowns. The festival celebrates the memory of a monk who tattooed villagers to protect them from attacks by wild animals. Some claim that their tattoos have special powers.
