World’s fastest golfer took less than 21min to complete a 9 holes round of Golf in Dubai: new record

Luke Willett, a 39-year-old English golfer, set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest nine-hole round of golf in the sport's history. He completed the front nine of Dubai's Fire Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates in 20 minutes and 12.47 seconds, averaging about 2.2 minutes per hole. Willett, facing over 30-degree heat, used only three clubs: a three-wood, a six-iron, and a pitching wedge. The attempt, under the auspices of DP World, a global smart logistics leader and title partner of the DP World Tour Championship, challenged Willett to complete 2470 meters in less than 21 minutes. A club professional from Buckinghamshire, Willett is among the top three Speed Golfers globally, having recently placed third in the US Open.
