Donors pledge more than $1bn dollars to help Afghanistan
$1 Billion in pledges made during the donor conference after appeal from United Nations. Norway says it will contribute $11.5M, and China has promised $31M worth of food & aid. France has said it will contribute $118M to the UN's flash appeal for Afghanistan.
