End of the world: Scientists study Chile’s untouched Cape Horn



Temperatures are set to reach more than 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7F) above pre-industrial levels in the next five years.
That could have irreversible effects on the polar ice caps, which, in turn, could have dire consequences for humanity.
As many as 250 climate scientists have gathered at Cape Horn in southern Chile to find ways to mitigate these changes.
