Genocide allegations: Israel to defend itself at top UN court
At the International Court of Justice, South Africa has laid out a detailed and chilling case, accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.
It calls Israel's military campaign a long and systematic pattern of intentional genocidal acts meant to displace and kill Palestinians.
Later on Friday, Israel will defend itself against those accusations. Some Israeli leaders are outraged, the case was even launched in the first place. They've described it as 'blood libel' and a classic case of 'victim blaming.'
