Libya gov’t hopeful mercenaries will withdraw ‘within days’

Libya’s path towards finding lasting peace has received a big boost. The country's foreign minister announced that mercenaries could be out of the country within days. She said progress had been made at talks with world leaders in Germany, but that it was time for action. The expected departure of the mercenaries is part of a plan to reduce violence in Libya before national elections in December.
