Over the five-day weekend from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday, a record 200.4 million shoppers visited stores and online platforms, according to the National Retail Federation. The average spending on holiday-related purchases over the weekend was approximately $321.41, similar to last year’s figures. The strong turnout reflects consumers’ enthusiasm for bargain hunting, while retailers are adopting a more cautious approach. Online sales also saw a significant increase, with consumers spending $9.8 billion on Black Friday and $12.4 billion on Cyber Monday.
