Rescue operations after earthquakes hit Turkey and Syria



Live scenes from Adana, Turkey after earthquakes rocked wide swathes of the southern part of the country and Syria early on Monday, toppling hundreds of buildings and killing more than 1,500 people. Hundreds are still believed to be trapped under rubble, and the toll is expected to rise as rescue workers search mounds of wreckage in cities and towns across the area.
