UNGA 2023: Ukraine’s Zelenskyy accuses Russia of genocide

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that it was Russia that needed to undergo nuclear disarmament after the Cold War, not Ukraine. “Terrorists have no right to hold nuclear weapons,” he said. Zelenskyy has accused Russia of committing genocide by abducting thousands of Ukrainian children and indoctrinating them against the country. Zelenskyy has called on the world to push to implement his 10-point peace formula, which calls for Russia’s withdrawal from Ukrainian territories and establishing a special tribunal to prosecute war crimes.
